The Melbourne Ice, in collaboration with the Ice Hockey Classic and the O’brien Icehouse, are proud to announce an additional home exhibition game for 2026 against The Classic All-Stars — a showcase featuring elite players from the USA and Canada — to be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at O'Brien Icehouse with puck drop scheduled for 7:00pm
We will be featuring unique merchandise, give-aways and lots of entertainment.

Our 2026 Tribute Game
The event will feature and celebrate 120 Years of Ice Hockey in Australia, almost to the day, of the first recorded game played in the country, and will feature some of the finest players competing in Australia this season. The All-Stars lineup is expected to include former NHL players and athletes with experience across some of the world’s premier hockey leagues. As reigning AIHL Champions, the Melbourne Ice are expected to ice a roster largely built around the club’s 2025 Goodall Cup-winning squad, taking on the Ice Hockey Classic “Best of the Best” team in what promises to be a highly entertaining international showcase.
