Our COVID-19 Project
In May 2020, in collaboration with 300Blankets, we began a community program known as the ICEOLATION Care Package program, whereby our members, fans and sponsors could donate and we provide A Care Package to Melbourne families in need of help. During 2020 and 2021 we raised over $50K and gifted over 2000 packs.

300 Blankets is dedicated to supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Victoria. Melbourne Ice has collaborated on a range of projects including, outreach, Soup Kitchens and the ICEOLATION CARE PACKAGES during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ronald McDonald House
Every year we host a Ronald McDonald House event to raise funds and awareness. In addition we get our team staff to do a 'cook in' where we showcase our [questionable] cooking skills for the families in the house.

Alannah & Madeline Foundation
Alannah & Madeline Foundation
Canada Day [usually last weekend in June] is traditionally a big event @ Melbourne Ice. The highlight of that day is the 'Teddy Bear Toss' where supporters buy and bring teddy bears and toss them onto the ice when the first goal is scored. Alannah and Madeline collect all these teddy bears and they go into their Buddy Bags.
