Volunteers & Interns

We all have different personal reasons but mostly it is to gain and enjoy an experience supporting a High Performance Sporting Organisation.

We provide induction, training and mentoring to all the roles on offer and we use a HR professional to oversee the on-boarding process. 

Most of our jobs are profiled at about 4-6 hours per week. Warning: Hockey is totally infectious  and some people commit alot more than that.

Not at all, we allow all volunteers to come and watch our games as much as possible, even if you are not working that day.

Most of our work is done at home, on ZOOM,  but we do have casual offices available at the rear of our shop in the Docklands. We also meet every month at the O'Brien Icehouse [Boardroom]. Once the season begins, we meet up at the games most weekends.
