In 2019 the Melbourne Ice proposed a collaboration with O'Brien Icehouse and the Melbourne Ice Wolves. We called the new entity the Ice Alliance. The Ice Alliance is a separate entity and office holders are;

We took the opportunity to enter our first team into the IHV Winter Junior League. We now play 4 grades of Hockey U11. U15 and U20. There are currently three active teams in the league ~ Dockland Ice Wolves, Jets [Oakleigh] and the Ducks [Reservoir].
The Docklands Ice Wolves are our first team into the IHV Winter League and we currently have over 80 kids from 6-18 enrolled in any given season.
